Capturing the memories of your everyday actives are so important!

The Green Barn produce store is one of our favorite little local spots to stop for fruits and veggies. Ever since our first visit to Washington 6 years ago, we've always made a point to go there at least once. I have one little cell phone photo of my husband holding our newborn daughter in the parking lot there and its one of my fav photos of her little smooshy newborn face.

I knew I had to capture some sweet photos of my girls now, 6 years later taking our weekly trip to the Green Barn to once again freeze time at one of our frequented favorite spots.

Why take photos at the grocery store?

Don't you remember grocery store trips with your parent as a child? Was there ever a special treat you asked for every time you walked in the door?

I can remember those days when I was a child. I remember begging to see the cake displays and asking my mom for candy at the check out. I want to give my kids a visual memento of what our every day actives looked like when they are grown adults. They'll remember the wall of honey jars and honey stix they asked for when we pulled up to the parking lot. They'll remember sitting in the cart getting piles of bagged veggies to hold in their laps.

Authentic childhood

You'll find no staged outfits here or staged poses either. This is authentic childhood, this is tantrums and whining, happiness and laughter. Its worth the capture, its worth keeping because it is your real life and its what memories are made of.
