About Me

Hello!

My name is Shelby. I am a wife and mother to two lovely girls. We enjoy being outside in the fresh air, surrounded by nature. We love homeschooling, feeding our chickens and hanging out by the fire. While staying home to read books, cook delicious food and do a little bit of homeschooling is just fine...what I really enjoy doing is taking my girls out to nearby parks and nature trails (with my camera in hand of course) and letting them be "wild".

It is here that I found my true passion for telling the stories of our days. Finding the interesting light, the little faces turned up at the towering trees and little bare feet tip toeing through the shallows of the riverbank. Or maybe the stories of tiny snuggly faces covered up in blankets reading books by the fire. Or maybe the stories of sitting on grandpas lap while we eat our favorite snack. Whatever the day may bring, I found passion and love in capturing those memories, those stories and keeping them forever in a still frame.
